ITDI RESEARCHERS TAKE CENTER STAGE

            In the spirit of competitiveness, continually facing challenges, ITDI researchers once again make waves in an NRCP-DOST organized Poster Exhibit Competition on basic researches, one  of the highlights of the celebration of the National Research Council of the Philippines’ 77^th Foundation Anniversary.  This was held at the Manila Hotel on March 10, 2010. 

            At the above cited competition, two of four Institute entries  garnered grand prizes: Dr. Benilda Ebarvia’s “Chloramphenicol Detection Based on Piezoelectric Quartz Crystal Coupled with Molecularly Imprinted Polymer”- 2^nd prize, Cluster II: Mathematical Sciences, Engineering & Industrial Research, Physical and Earth & Space Sciences and Mr. Noel Unciano’s “Microbial Desulfurization Strains Isolated from Soil Microcosm.” – 1^st prize, Cluster IV: Biological Sciences, Agriculture & Forestry and Veterinary Medicine.

            Congratulations Beng & Noel!  We are very proud of you.  ITDI once again adds on another laurel to its heavily laden cap!
